On June 20, the Liuheng Administrative Committee of the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area in Zhejiang Province issued the "Several Policies on Further Promoting the High-Quality Development of Liuheng's Real Economy."
The document states that it supports the development of the hydrogen energy industry. It encourages the implementation of integrated demonstration scenarios for clean energy hydrogen production, energy storage systems (ESS), and the application of hydrogen-powered vehicles in factory areas. Enterprises will receive a 30% subsidy, up to a maximum of 3 million yuan, for expenses incurred in design and R&D, hydrogen production equipment, the purchase or lease of hydrogen-powered vehicles for factory areas, and other related costs. For hydrogen energy systems produced in Liuheng that meet the conditions for demonstration applications, a subsidy of 6,000 yuan/kW will be provided based on the rated power of the hydrogen fuel cells produced and sold (the annual cumulative amount of this subsidy will not exceed 6 million yuan). Greater support will be given to hydrogen refueling entities, with a certain subsidy provided based on the annual cumulative hydrogen refueling volume of vehicles by hydrogen refueling entities. For an annual cumulative volume not exceeding 30,000 kg, a subsidy of 40 yuan/kg will be provided; for volumes exceeding 30,000 kg annually, the excess portion will be subsidized at 25 yuan/kg.
